There seems to be a not-insignificant percentage of shareholding owners who are just pissed with the direction of the company over a number of years now. Given its unequivocal success in terms of both drilling outcomes and market cap growth, I can only imagine those owners are somehow connected to the mob that spent countless years looking for low grade gold in amongst the numerous slabs of once-in-a-lifetime high-graded riches. The same mob that was happy to build a sub-optimal plant, leading inevitably to an extinction event were it not for the arrival of Simon Lawson and his team.
The new management team didn’t have to put the plant in care and maintenance mode, and they didn’t have to take the risk of looking for high grade gold, and they certainly didn’t need to continue drilling once they found Never Never. We wouldn’t have known about the prodigious Pepper load for maybe years. We could have been taken over for peanuts. There are lots of possible decisions and outcomes that would have delivered worse results for the existing shareholders.
I just don’t understand any negative feelings toward current management apart from sour grapes that they will be the ones getting the credit and financial spoils after a decade of mismanagement from the other mob.

These are just my opinions as an outsider, I could be totally wrong.
