I am not ignoring risk, I am fully aware that the share price will fluctuate. The 145% capital gain or massive share price drop is not locked in unless I sell.
That is why I'm a long term investor. The share price fluctuations are less relevent with a 30yr view. Meanwhile, the dividends are a lovely bonus, even if they reduce.
