I wouldn't say the Chinese and Africans are necessarily on good terms.
The Chinese operate under their own law in many parts.
Colombia and Australians are a different story though. It would be good as others point out to get the likes of a Sprott or co to start building a cornerstone position and help navigate the sovereign risk.
