Agreed..... yesterday's announcement was top shelf, however you look at it. But look at how the SP responded.... after a strong open AMI saw a steady sell off all day, a clear illustration the market has lost all confidence in Dan's ability to lead the company forward.
An example of how the market prices strong leadership would be OBM.... look how their stock price has been on a steady (at times very strong) rise ever since their new CEO was announced in early July. And another would be GMD, they are basically being valued at a premium (to peers) on the basis of having an MD who has been there done that (ex; NST)
As Dan is the MD & CEO he sits on the board meetings, so if he doesn't want to go it's a matter of the other directors having the guts to bring up that 'leadership' discussion at the board.... if it doesn't come in the next month or 2 then it shows the AMI board is also weak... and a 'bigger' clean out is required.
