Exactly - they have a habit of announcing amazing results, then on the same day announcing a quarterly which of late has been mediocre. So not only does the price sensitive exploration announcement get pushed down the list, the average numbers then take precedence. I dont understand this strategy.
These latest results werent ready for them to bunch together with all the crap they shared a few weeks ago. Although this time around the result of seperate announcements has been negligible, IMO its still a very good idea to do this as over time people will begin to see exactly what you have pointed out in the early part of your post.
In relation to clearing out the turkeys, have a listen to this. This Andrew Graham guy seems like the real deal after just a 5 minute interview seems to have a greater grasp on things than old mate Dan.
