That’s what I found interesting: if they keep having to do it, at what point does it become unnecessary to do it? The more of these results that they report, the less the ‘variability’ argument seems to apply? That could be significant too because of the divergence in cut and uncut numbers.
No doubt there are statistical rules that they are applying, as SL alludes to himself in the announcement.
