I'm also not sure what you're expecting to be contained in an announcement by SPX at this time as all announcements by all ASX listed companies are aimed at shareholders. It would also be very unusual for a company to attach a copy of it's full defence to an announcement to the ASX or to set out in great detail what is contained in their defence as most people reading it won't know what to make of it in any event.

You will also notice that VMC has not released an announcement containing the full detail of its statement of claim either, for the obvious reason that it's not the done thing...
