If you look at the graph below (generated from Commsec this afternoon), over the last 12 months SPX is up 1000% (despite the dip due to the pending legal action), RXL is up 100% (yep they've doubled) and good ol' Venus has risen a princely 15%! FIFTEEN PERCENT!! Talk about UNDERPERFORMING against your peers!

If I'd invested serious money in VMC, I'd be out for blood. As an investor, this shows me there are huge problems with VMC (Ha! Surprise), most likely in the various major shareholdings and their support of the stock. It also demonstrates that there is very LIMITED market support for VMC. Then top things off, VMC is putting two brokers into the Supreme Court! Forget the substance of the allegations, it's how it looks and is perceived by investors and the market participants!! Like I said, Corporate Suicide.
