Let's hope that buyer comes calling within the next year or so, for a good premium (from current levels!)

Don't misunderstand me when it comes to considering takeover potential: I wouldn't necessarily be thinking hefty buyout premium.

It will depend on the traction of the business and the state of the balance sheet at the time of any approach by an acquirer. And don't necessarily think listed entity as the buyer, either.

There is a non-trivial chance of a scenario where the company's financial position is such that control changes hands for nil, or negligible premium; for example, in the case of a reverse takeover by a privately-held entity, as the last resort of preserving what residual value might still remain at the time.
