My conclusions below are from the financials (2018) and a google search on SDA largest shareholders (AFR website delivered the breakdown).
Reading last years financials I can see that there is ~12 million shares tied up in management/Board of Directors... there is a total shares on issue of 240 million (thats 5% of holdings). I know Portsea (15%), Southeastern Asset Management (5%), Challenger (10%) and IOOF (11%) have taken large direct holdings... and the absence of any change in substantial holding confirms that they haven't been using any of their stock for shorting....
the financials also show the top holdings were held by broker accounts ~70% less the management holding above = ~65% of stock... how can you be sure that these holdings weren't being held "for sale"?
Can you confirm who the other 35% of stock "that isn't being sold" belongs to????
Please don't read what as I am posting here as an attack on your information, I am just really trying to get my head around the behavior of the market and this stock over the last two months... I think there is money to be made here as a LT holder and as a trade, but working out which is the better option requires more discussion and research IMO

The last official top 20 was from April,
Top 20 owned approx. 87%...
Going through all of the:
Substantial holder Anns,
Other Announcements,
Sellers and Buyers lists,
etc,
It still seems like the top 20 ownership would be around the same...
I will try and post the actual links to articles and info later,
But have done a heck of a lot of research on this,
And will be repeating the same thing a bit...
Check out SDA on AdotFdotR,
pretty sure it has some of the info you want...
