Yes I think there will continue to be enough demand in one sector or another to satisfy new sources of vanadium supply coming on line in the next few years. So finding a market for the stuff once it's been produced doesn't concern me. However, I don't think the price of vanadium will stabilise in the short to medium term if ever. So I wouldn't want to have my money in a pure vanadium play at least at this stage. To me the major advantage of having several useful materials lying near-surface under largely homogeneous, flat-lying ground is that it allows flexibility to satisfy changing demands without having to slow production or stockpile. The obvoius barrier to exploiting this opportunity is finding a processing technique that can be adapted relatively quickly and cheaply when the demand matrix shifts from metal to metal. We seem to be making progress in that direction and that's what gives me faith in the SSM project.
