When l see announcements from Gold producers for an example, l know they've drilled and core samples have then been taken and tested for their Au content. Multiple drill holes are evaluated over a particular area of a tenement to determine the estimated grams of Gold per ton of ore that may be processed.
That's when a certified geologist will then announce their estimated jorc increase, the estimated Gross Gold reserves that the tenement now claims to have, based upon the estimation of these assay results. These figures get published by the ASX on behalf of miners and are informed guesstimates at best,... yet they stand up as fact every time without question.
It's not so simple as estimated grams X the price of gold obviously, there's depth issues, can it be mined open cut or not, and ore issues, difficulty of extraction, besides infrastructure among other things like plant, before anything like Nett Profit margins can be anywhere near a true figure.
Yet the ASX, allow these Au estimates delivered to the Market as actual gross quantities, without process expenses included, which could be 50% or more off the Gross valued announcement by the time it's sold bullion.
What l'm saying is, l think the estimates given by CRO would in the majority of cases every bit, if not quite a bit more reliable than that of the above mining processes, and that goes for all mining when evaluating reserves of metal ore.
It wouldn't be to hard for CRO after evaluating a companies books to estimate there expected revenue margin they'd likely receive for adding value along the lines of that company's transactions.
Personally l think CRO have just as much right to guesstimate the roundabout revenue they might receive through hard facts and figures when compared to the mining industry, not an issue imo!
Hope Adrian keeps on declaring business acquisitions, the revenue will come, meanwhile buy while you still can.
