Don't confuse revenue with cash receipts though as revenue is income that has been earned, but not necessarily received, whereas cash receipts is money that has in fact been received. It is entirely possible to have both an increase in revenue and reduction in cash receipts at the same time, or even to have an increase in cash receipts and a decrease in revenue
