It's comments like this which demonstrate that your thinking is very much 'inside the box' and you don't properly understand that fintechs exist to disrupt the status quo and make money from creating new opportunities for people to transact.
People like you probably said why would people use BNPL providers when they already have a bank/savings account with a Visa/Mastercard attached to it or they already have a credit card or can get a personal loan.
