I live in Perth now, spent the last 7 years in Munich and the last 11 years in the oil and gas industry. The last 3 years was working on a drillship off the west coast of Africa. I understand exactly what you're saying but the African nations are a tiny percentage of global demand. Over 60% of global consumption goes into transportation and the auto, truck and even aircraft industry (over the next 5-10 years) will fast become electric. The price of oil may rise but production definitely wont.
