While Queensland's gas reserves have long been seen as a potential asset, it's important to remember the challenges associated with extracting this gas.
Previous assessments have highlighted the difficulties involved, particularly in relation to fracking.
While divesting might temporarily improve the asset's value on paper, the long-term viability of these reserves remains uncertain.
Given these considerations, I've decided not to participate in this offer.
Ultimately, the decision rests with each individual investor.
