Great input as always 2ic. Thoughts on HRE esperance neighbour getting decent recoveries average 82% with weaker HCl (10-20 g/L) than OD6 and actually reporting acid consumption rates average 18 kg/t? If the grade is high enough, and the acid consumption rate low enough, than even HCl could be economic. Compare to IXR head grade 640 ppm, acid consumption rate (sulphuric) 14 kg/t.
In any case, I don't buy the chlor-alkali plant, that is a huge red flag. It's rare to see a project capex support a sulphuric acid plant, let alone a chlor-alkali plant!
