Ronaldfc, If it has $4.5 bil in funds, its worth $4.5 bil. If investors decided to liquidate the Motive group, they will get $4.5 bil back given the liquidation was simple (say in bonds and bills). Obviously it doesn't hold all bills and bonds, but others will understand what I am saying.
The kind of comments you make are from the Mickey Mouse school of investing.
