As you know, you need to crystalise a loss (sell out) to gain any tax benefit but there are also some strict tax rules when it comes to that. Consult your tax agent.
There is a lot of misunderstanding on this issue coupled with a call centre calling shareholders while not giving the truth, which just adds to the confusion.

Private equity is often misunderstood and I am not going to explain that today. What money private equity puts in will go back to them as they will control the entity. Don't be fooled thinking shareholders are getting those funds or a dividend. That's just wishful thinking.

You may be reconstructed to 1:100 what a joke

You can see the dilution, 540m shares on issue and 250m new issue. Dilution is clear. ~33% for Motive, 66% for previous shareholders. Plus the company lives to fight another day.

Without this what are companies choices? None, it will likely go out business.

IMO it's not a bad deal if you can stomach not being in the public markets.

IMO DYOR etc etc
