Not to downplay the finds in the Lachlan’s Ford belt but it’s early days there as far as potential goes, to my knowledge there’s no active mines nearby except some historical tin operations, minimal infrastructure. The only thing going for it is recent finds by Dorchap (another SQM backed explorer) south of Kali’s granted tenements.
I think the market is waiting on more detailed findings in the WA regions:
Higginsville region due to the amount of existing players operations nearby has a far greater outlook, better access to existing railroads and infrastructure etc. there definitely can be synergies unlocked from existing operators. It was mentioned that results would be out shortly.
Pilbara region which we haven’t received much information on so far, however seems to be worth keeping an eye on due to SQM’s specific funding and JV setup for those projects in particular.
