Something like this TKL0046A likely comes back around 1-2% Li2O range. The spodumene is as clear as day to pick here. But difficult to tell how homogenous the spodumene is throughout the sample.

TKL0042 spodumene (orange) is still less easily identified but it's there; probably closer to 1% Li2O. It also looks predominantly unaltered - some quartz (yellow) has grown around the edges.

They have confirmation of 4 high-grade samples with the dominant mineralogy being spodumene and albite! This is the magic combo for high-grade low-contaminant spodumene pegmatite mineralogy, none of the other garbage lithium minerals. With 1 sample being a repeat (46A). However, these 4 samples are all taken from the Eastern block.

As I suspected, only the Eastern prospect where their 4 samples which they sampled have the spodumene. Nothing identified in the Central Zone.

66 samples and at least 4 will be good. Question is, how many out of Central will be good?https://hotcopper.com.au/data/attachments/4785/4785373-26134c0b3524afb045b9975e7fe0666e.jpg
Speaking of Central, there is a lot going on here. At least 2 generations of pegmatites here (roughly N-trending pink/blue and the NW/SE-trending green), but they suspect 3.

While a positive step, there is no doubt concerns about the prospectivity of the central zone until proven otherwise. This region is notorious for producing lepidolite as the main lithium-hosting mineral. Further identification of spodumene/albite in the central zone will be worth monitoring. I wouldn't be surprised to see assays in the coming weeks leading the headline with "High Grade 2.8% Li2O Confirmed in Spodumene-Bearing Pegmatites at the Tambourah Lithium Project" followed by 4 great results and 60 mediocre results.
