Anglo American extensively explored that whole region back in the 70's and early 80's ~ Most of Dart's "Discoveries" including that Molly show up at Shelly and the Gold mine at Omeo were identified back then, and YES it is very rugged country in parts and most of the locals are Anti-mining.
