Great presentation. Always good to get a better technical understanding from the inventor David Wald. I was also impressed with Jason Litten who clearly knows his stuff.
David Wald noted that Patient #8 is still to this day is in long term complete remission with ongoing complete response. In this trial 3 patients had blood cancers (100% disease control was seen) and to my knowledge this was the only patient with AML. This presents a very promising treatment for AML patients, looking forward to seeing Phase 2 kicking off.
He also noted because of the FDA requirements they had to start with the NK Cells alone without any enhancements (CR achieved without enhancements) He said. In the second trial which is now in progress they are combining these endpoints with other agents to further enhance the efficacy.
