The price is getting cheap, but there may be a problem.

Quote announcement 1.12.20
"The Acquisition will be funded by a combination of existing cash and a A$50 million fully
underwritten placement (“Placement”). The settlement of the Placement is conditional on the
Acquisition being approved at the Meeting and will occur prior to the completion of the
Acquisition".

If the acquisition does not go ahead, they may not be able to have a SPP.

One solution would be to buy the Sportech business in a co ordinated bid with cashed up Jumbo Interactive Ltd (JIN) and let them have the lottery part of the Sportech business. This effectively moves the other bidder to the sidelines.

Unfortunately this would take about 3 months to complete and would involve possibly missing out on the business.

Hopefully the votes fall the right way on the 24th December..
