that's not how it works. the betmakers' deal is subject to sporttech shareholder approval. if the sporttech shareholders don't approve there is no deal. at the end of the day it's dollars and cents. the apparent sporttech board endorsement of the current deal is good. but - and it remains a big but - if a binding third party deal is presented which is worth more to the sporttech shareholders , what do you expect them to do? not sure if the betmakers deal has an "out" for the sporttech board in the case of a binding superior proposal being presented. We're not there yet.
