I completely agree. Frustrations are one thing, but the constant barrage is not helpful for the image of TNG.
Despite the delays we've had to endure TNG is very advanced considering the magnitude of the project. Any investor (financier) looking at TNG seriously will not necessarily be swayed by public opinion but will look at the business case. The comparison to BHP offering a premium is great, but TNG is not BHP. BHP is a proven reliable organisation with a steady revenue stream, multiple projects, etc. and so forth. TNG is an aspiring miner who got lucky with a large deposit and has slowly managed to add some technology to its offering, it is by no means a sure-bet investment. Any investor worth his / her salt will be aware of the inherent risks. "But Vlad think of the up side..", yes - yes I know, but good investors don't take punts, they make balanced investment decisions taking into account all factors.
Fact is Tivan is not proven at a commercial scale and without the EIS approved this is still a significant risk for TNG.
Before TNG can even think about finance the company needs to derisk sufficiently that any investor/financier coming along will be watering at the mouth; otherwise TNG could give away the whole company for real peanuts as opposed to what everyone seems to think Vimson is a "horrible" deal. I don't agree with the Vimson deal because we have not been given any insight into how this deal will be good for TNG, perhaps if PB could spare a day to put together a detailed investor presentation that isn't the same garbage that's been recycled for years that would be good.
Don't get me wrong, I believe in the TNG dream and I've bought in a significant amount of stock which I've only added (never sold). But ya'll need to consider your responses and how they may be interpreted by new investors. Also, these kinds of times separate the men from the boys, one day those that sold out will be kicking themselves and all I can say is, if you don't have the brass, move on.
