A good sign that with the increased number of shares on issue, including not just the SPP but the placement, the SP is still hovering in the A$4.80 range, even on a day when lower east coast Australia allegedly had its highest ever Richter scale earthquake, a 5.9 at 0915 AEST.
Some domestic policies exclude earthquake damage. Mine (QBE) includes it.
So far I suspect it may not be a major event in terms of potential claims but we must wait a few days to be definitive. There have been claims of aftershocks but in inner Melbourne I've not felt any.
