Steadfast Group by my understanding is not an underwriter of insurance and is therefore note actually exposed to any insurance claims.
Steadfast is essentially a middle man and sells the insurance on insurers behalf (e.g QBE) and they receive some sort of payment in either upfront commission or ongoing trail. As a result, earthquakes and other disasters could be good for steadfast as people will either get insurance to cover it or think they need insurance after all.
