I mailed a cheque from inner Melbourne to Sydney, which arrived in 42 hours using Express Post. It used to be one business day, but I reckon a lot of Express Post is going by rail or road because there are so few domestic passenger flights, and the freighter planes Australia Post has are full. The cheque was banked two days later, which is unusual. Normally share registries bank these on the day they clear their GPO or other mailbox.

The whole process was efficient despite choosing not to use electronic BPay.

I predict many of SDF's c.27000 holders will support this excellent issue but as usual,more than a few won't subscribe for the maximum A$30000 entitlement.
