Maybe it has nothing to do with tardiness but rather to do with their system design. If you look at your portfolio, it shows 'Available units' for trading. But it does not have a column to show 'Unavailable Unit' or something to that effect to put the new SPP shares into. If it shows up under the Available Units, then it is misleading. I suppose one can say Comsec is a bit more pedantic in that the shares will be available for trading tomorrow anyway, so showing up today or not under Available unit should not really matter.
