My guess is the CR was done because the prospects for significant off-takes in the short term are low. imo... they got the money in to tide them over until things improve.
The path forward (i.e. SP improvements) seems to start with NSW Govt. approvals, followed by clarification of what Hyundai might bring to the table.
As far as KMP is concerned, like it or not the World is effectively in a war scenario... the EU is thoroughly rooted for the next decade, financial conditions with central banks constantly changing things creates the worst possible investment environment so everyone will be delaying big decisions for as long as possible, the EV revolution is starting to stall out... and on it goes.
ASM is suffering collateral damage, as with many other good companies, due to the hugely disrupted macro situation which is playing out.
