That is basically , a good summary Bedger ....of the "wonderful opportunity "story that Bell Potter , who was the appointed lead Broker to the recent Institutional cap raise ( and concurrent SPP with it ) must have grasped and been comfortable with in enticing Instos and Soph. Investor clients , to subscribe @$1.73 .
So ...either or Bell Potter and retail Investors ( me ) who participated , are gullible and mugs ...or the current weakness ( somewhat expected immediately after the raise ..Directors I G and Kerry Gleeson
could not have participated , if news "imminent " at the time the CR was announced ) ...presents an even better opportunity , as you have done , to add !
Bell Potter ...I suspect ...will have their Insto clients starting to make incoming phone calls ...that some positive news , obviously outlined in the CR spin yo participate ...better start to emerge soon (ish) , or when the share price "regroups"to $1.73 or thereabouts , we are "outa here "! Done and dusted with slow moving or unfulfilled potential promises !
So ...;LOW TRADING VOLUMES don't indicate to me , that there is anything but disenchanted retail selling at present .So ...disenchanted as many/most of us are likely to be , there is still a part of the "forensic test " that indicates , a positive share price turn via one/some positive announcements , is coming soon !!
The September Quarterly ( released October last ) outlined substantial progress on a number of fronts ...December Quarterly ( in Jan 2023 ) had better summarize some PRICE SENSITIVE ANNOUNCEMENTS between now and the release of the Quarterly ...or the share price will be under more severe pressure , and IG and Board will have a cluster of unhappy investors !
We are long past "glass half empty or full "status .. better start to transition from an empty glass and only cask wine available , to pouring an optimistic bottle of nice Sav Blanc or Shiraz .
IG may have loads of time and patience . On the other hand , for some of us retail investors , grandkids educational expenses are getting substantially more expensive !
