re: Ann: Springsure Creek Project- Close Publ... Do you think the judge had to chew on carbon emissions for a several months?
Does anyone except the BND board really think this land court process will be fully resolved in two months?
I see the number of objections doubled to 6 in a week and for all we know one of them is complaining about global warming. Detail on the types of complaints are not given for all 6.
But does it really matter? The game plan by objectors seems to be to stall the project until the company collapses. They and others can see the soft underbelly of the take or pay agreement. The way things are going a handful of farmers could torpedo the whole multi billion port development and kill off all coal mining proposals in the serviced region.
It is a nightmare getting a large project up in Australia given that the moment you sign a contract to get associated infrastructure up you are exposed and destroyed via long drawn out legal process.
Maybe Bleyer will come to the rescue? ;)
