While SRV's post-covid performance has been excellent, and the sp is currently up about 150% since its nadir in July 2020, it is still about $2.70 less than its peak in late 2016, when the turnover was also much greater.
Is it a growth or recovery stock, or a dividend source?
In addition, the Founder and current CEO will be 84 in March (albeit he appears to be in rude health). He and the family super fund control nearly 54% of the company, and the next generation of Moufarriges sold out of the business some time ago. If there is a succession plan, it must be locked away in Alf's wall safe.
If I was a private client investment analyst, I would probably label SRV "Accumulate, High Risk", and if I was advising an institution, and I added in the circa $550 mil market cap, the label would be "Nah!".
