Yes, a bit surprising to see the stock increasing by only around 4 %, when they do an acquisition which is supposed to increase their EPS by around 14 % (while the PE is still low).
I think we have seen this kind of market reactions several times during the last 6 months.
The only explanation I can find is that one (or several) substantial holders still want to decrease their holdings and use any opportunity when there is more volume traded on the stock.
My conviction on this stock remains strong :
- as you said yesterday, interesting to see the CEO buying 700,000 shares (at a price which is very close to the highest since their IPO),
- also good to see the in-store sales offsetting the impact of slowdown of e-commerce (less concern for Q4 when they have a high basis of comparison for e-commerce).
As Investor 1992 says, you have really the feeling that the management is doing a lot of right things.
