Thanks for the reply. You are correct of course but i think you are side stepping the argument. Lovisa is a luxury brand not comparable to discretionary and durable consumer goods that SSG sell. So let me correct my questioning:
I find it interesting how many durable and non luxury discretionary consumer retail stores in Australia are able to make such a good margin (SUL, JBH etc). It seems that there's just poor durable and non luxury discretionary consumer retail entrepreneurship here in Australia? right? Anywhere else in the world it would be razor blade thin margins for any durable and non luxury discretionary consumer retailer.
