Details of the transactions or other events requiring disclosure under the
instructions to this form:

The change in percentage held was not caused by transactions initiated by
Mobil Oil New Zealand Limited ("MONZ") but rather the change in issued share
capital of NZRC.  On 6 March 2014, NZRC issued 28,571,429 ordinary shares (at
$1.68 per share) pursuant to a capital raising in which MONZ did not
participate.  On 14 April 2014, NZRC issued 4,003,695 ordinary shares (at
$1.68 per share) pursuant to a share purchase plan in which MONZ did not
participate.
The above allotments have had the effect of diluting MONZ's substantial
holdings by more than 1%.
