Notification of major interests in shares
On 4 September 2012 Caledonia Investments plc (the "Company") received
notification from Rebelco S.A. ("Rebelco") that, as a result of the Company's
purchase of its own shares on 31 August 2012, Rebelco's holding of 2,847,344
ordinary shares in the Company now represents 5.00% of the total voting
rights of the Company. Rebelco S.A. is a 100% owned subsidiary of Sofina
S.A.
