Caledonia Investments plc

Public opening position/dealing disclosure by a person with interests in
relevant securities representing 1% or more
Rule 8.3 of the Takeover Code (the "Code")

In accordance with Rule 8.3 of the Code, Caledonia Investments plc
("Caledonia") announces that, on 8 October 2012, it sold 140,000 ordinary 4
1/6p shares in A.G. Barr p.l.c. at a price of 450p per share. Following the
sale, Caledonia owns 9,562,500 ordinary shares in A.G. Barr p.l.c.,
representing 8.19% of its issued ordinary shares with voting rights.
