Caledonia Investments plc

Public opening position/dealing disclosure by a person with interests in
relevant securities representing 1% or more
Rule 8.3 of the Takeover Code (the "Code")

In accordance with Rule 8.3 of the Code, Caledonia Investments plc
("Caledonia") announces that, on 15 October 2012, it sold 50,000 ordinary 4
1/6p shares in A.G. Barr p.l.c. at a price of 450p per share. Following the
sale, Caledonia owns 9,512,500 ordinary shares in A.G. Barr p.l.c.,
representing 8.15% of its issued ordinary shares with voting rights.
