Public opening position/dealing disclosure by a person with interests in
relevant securities representing 1% or more
Rule 8.3 of the Takeover Code (the "Code")

In accordance with Rule 8.3 of the Code, Caledonia Investments plc
("Caledonia") announces that, on 30 October 2012, it sold 30,000 ordinary 4
1/6p shares in A.G. Barr p.l.c. at a price of 445.1364p per share. Following
the sale, Caledonia owns 9,457,500 ordinary shares in A.G. Barr p.l.c.,
representing 8.10% of its issued ordinary shares with voting rights.
