Rule 8.3 of the Takeover Code (the "Code")

Further to the joint statement issued on 6 November 2012 regarding a
potential merger of London & Stamford Property Plc (London & Stamford) and
Metric Property Investments PLC, Caledonia Investments plc announces, in
accordance with Rule 8.3 of the Code, an opening position as at 6 November
2012 of 33,497,094 ordinary 10p shares in London & Stamford, which represents
6.17% of London & Stamford's issued shares with voting rights.
