As you can see, Gold stocks are Baa, Ba or B. Not even majors like Barrick or Newmont can crack a A rating.
For SBM, Moody's states "An upgrade or positive outlook could be considered should the company successfully execute the integration of the Pacific assets, reach name plate capacity within the specified time frames and generate positive free cash flow while sustaining Debt to EBITDA levels below 4.0x.
