"Prineas said the company would be looking at a pre-feasibility study within 6 to 12 months.
“Because of the shallow mineralisation at this stage we’re considering an open cut or box cut, but whatever we do it’ll be a low cost operation which will be a big advantage,” he explained."
As far as I can tell, that is the first reference by SGQ to a time line on a PFS. After the PFS, there will be the DFS and then a decision to mine and the time line around all that could be 2 to 3 years. Of course, if the price of nickel, copper and cobalt continue to rise and the A$ falls against the US$, the company might fast track the project studies and possibly reduce the time before mining commences.
