The following article has to be the ultimate sell signal. After months of advising shareholders no Institution has questioned performance, now a call for calm....
I thought SJP had $AUD18.6B in FUM invested in Magellan. It is reported as $AUD23.3B of outflow.
December FUM is expected to be around the $AUD93.1B (current end of November FUM was $AUD116.4113B - $AUD23.3B), plus or minus performance and AUD/USD exchange rate.
Saying that they can recover after knowing that performance has been sub-par for more than one year, why haven't they turned the ship around already?
