Interesting...I was thinking exactly the same thing the market for those wishing to stay out of a 'facility' and use this as a means to allay other family members wanting to put them into a facility, or concerned family members want to support those that wish to remain in their own home, but need 'assistance or monitoring'.
I don't know anything about the business and have only just stumbled across it, however have they thought of approaching/partnering with Health Insurers? I would have thought an insurer would be inclined to offer a 'reduced' insurance policy if you had a system like this in place as it could lead to reduced claims (preventative v reactive? The insurer could/would be incentivised to pay for the part/all of the system installation or monitoring fee?
I see on their website they have a USA phone number? Aust market is proof of concept only right? US market would be where the $$'s are? How far along are they in their efforts to get a foothold in US?
