Wow nothing like an out of left field announcement to keep everyone on their toes, now not that this was unexpected... it is the significant timing of this that has an extremely positive impact for BRK and huge kudos to management for negotiating this outcome as it it a Win Win for all parties.

As I mentioned this was expected to be completed and pay down in close to two years by the wells paying for themselves via production to Merchant Funds as part of the Stack A JV which formed the 'off book financing' before reverting to BRK ownership. This has now all come forward and BRK will now be able to book the asset revenue in future quarterly reports.

As the production revenue can now be booked to BRK it can also be utilised going forward in funding well programs or land acquisition, this moves the ability to hit targets forward and closer.

Sure there are more shares to the tally but have been distributed at a discount to the forward strip price....meaning Merchant will win by holding onto their shares and selling when BRK is at a higher price and IMO it looks as though they would be certain of that to agree to the deal instead of waiting out the well pay down period, that is a huge vote of confidence TBH.

BRK will be even more attractive in future booking revenue that was there but wasn't due to the Stack A JV arrangement, this was always IMO a reason why the market did not 'get' the business models when quarterlies were announcing low revenue. that has all changed with this deal announced today.

In the very near future BRK will be booking, STACK wells, Orion JV, and of course Jewell production revenue

The cappers that appear here ATM is no different to the cappers that were around at 0.008c 0.013c.....they will be capping at higher soon enough and with further announcements developments they will have to cap higher again, these are only temporary and with good news and manament continuing to progress and kick goals they will be forced to move up.
