(JB)Afternoon Guido, what would you like to ask.
(G)Well mate, we want to know how’s our mines going?
A lot of questions and theories getting thrown around out there.
First question, why did you release an update just before the quarterly?
Was this to soften the blow?
(JB) Ahhh, yes, that would be a question from Kev, yes it was somewhat to soften the blow, also to dismiss some vicious rumours from frequent visitors to the AJM forum.
Yes, we have had a few problems, they have either been sorted out, or are getting worked on currently, new projects of this size, run into difficulties, as you well know.
(G) Yeah mate, never just smooth sailing as some expect.
Share price has taken a hammering last year and the beginning of this year, what’s your thoughts on that?
(JB) Well, we’re not in a position to stop the manipulation of the share price Guido.
as you would have noted, when we put out a decent announcement, the share price rises, a few days later, it gets forced back down.
Now would you and the other investors, rather we keep progressing with the mine, which should help the share price improve?
Or should we concentrate our efforts on PR, while we are still in the critical part of commissioning and ramp up?
(G) Yeah OK, I’m hearing you, get this sucker ramped up mate.
There’s been a lot of flack, over missing milestones and extra cost James, any reason for that?
(JB)As you would be well aware Guido, we get our timeframes from the on-site contractors, now maybe these timeframes were a bit enthusiastic, as you know, there can be many reasons for delays in construction, from logistics, weather, missing parts, things not lining up or going to the best laid plans, thus requiring the contractor to claim for extras etc.
(G)Yeah, it happens regularly in construction, let’s face it James, this is a complete plant, not some quick build LEGO set up.
How about you shout me a bourbon?
(JB)Correct Guido, we’ve built a world class plant, built to stand the test of time, and give shareholders confidence in a great return, with future robust dividends.
Get your own bourbon, we’re running on a budget.
(G)(Thinking to myself, it’s a bourbon ya cheap b#####d)
Yeah, talking about budget, how’s the money situation, must be bad if ya can’t afford to shout a round, do ya think we’re gunna need a CR?
(JB)Obviously, it’s something we want to avoid, I’m not ruling it out though, the rest about our finances and expansions is price sensitive, so i won’t go into that with you at the moment.
I’m a bit limited for time, is there anything else?
(G)Yeah James, thinking I would be a great asset to Altura, I reckon around 500k py with benefits would be fair, what do you think?
