As for EMTensor - I followed them a while back, that machine is not small, it's a lot larger than the EMV device and I don't recall them getting FDA approval despite mentioning it a few times slated for being some years back. Harder to tell with them being unlisted, but it seemed they went quiet, which makes me wonder if they hit some snags. Even despite this, they are a much larger device than EMVision's devices (both the Gen1 "EMU" and the Gen2 first responder model)

As for Medfield, they were doing trials in ambulances back in 2017, not being rolled out. I am not sure if they have regulatory approvals but I get the feeling things didn't quite go to plan given what someone else has already mentioned about their market cap and cash balance. That device didn't create an image either, which I believe is a big thing clinicians have given feedback as being important. Creating the image is no small feat so I don't think it's something they can pull out of the hat either.

These 2 companies are competitors I have watched since my first investment into EMV back in late 2017 at seed level.

EMVision's technology on the other hand is a number of algorithms that all have their own function and AI, overlaid to create an image which can provide insight into the location, size and type of stroke. All are important questions that need answering quickly in a suspected stroke, and quickly, which is what the emu can also do!

Competition is a good thing, it adds validation that there is a market that exists. I think EMVision has an edge over all of its competition and some I wouldn't even consider to be competition anymore given EMV's impressive progress. I can only assume Keysight is well aware of all the other devices being developed in the world in this space, yet chose to invest US$10M into EMV at $2.05 only months ago.

Also worth noting - If there were a competitor with a close enough device that existed and was already in the market with reg appoval, EMV would be going the 510k pathway for reg approval, rather than the De Novo pathway they are going.

Disregard my questions - found all the answers in two ASX releases late last year confirming what I thought may be the case.
