I think STX have only just started on their journey to be a mid cap player. Think 64 cents . i.e a $1 billion company divided by 1.55 million shares. That is their stated aim. And 64 cents is conservative. ( Many people define a mid cap as $2 billion plus.)

Now that STX have almost proven WE-2 then they must be thinking ahead to the many other opportunities in the Perth Basin that could propel them to stardom. Imagine if they drilled half a dozen WE-2 lookalikes in their permits? As Angela MacDonald-Smith said this could lead to a LNG export business.

The possibilities are endless for STX but one of them could include a supply proposition to a Major's LNG plant somewhere on the WA coast. They did not buy UIL just to sit on it. As Angela inferred, this could get seriously big.

ps I bequeathed 500k STX shares to my late brother's siblings. Can you imagine my feelings when STX were trading at 6 cents?
    Lots of action to come.

psss Looking forward to meeting some fellow posters at the Good Oil Conference
